Developer Feedback
I took a look at your excel-report-generator skill and wanted to share some thoughts.

The TL;DR
You're at 71/100, which is solid C-grade territory. This is based on Anthropic's skill best practices rubric. Your strongest area is Spec Compliance (12/15) — the frontmatter and naming are clean. The real drag is Writing Style (5/10) and Progressive Disclosure (17/30) — your SKILL.md is trying to do too much in one place.
What's Working Well
- Spec compliance is tight — your YAML frontmatter is valid, naming follows conventions, and metadata triggers (Excel, spreadsheet, report generation) are clear
- Comprehensive examples — having
basic_report.py,advanced_report.py, andtemplate_fill.pyis smart. Actual code examples help people understand what the skill can do - Good reference structure — separating API details into
REFERENCE.mdand having a dedicated examples directory shows you understand layering
The Big One: SKILL.md is bloated
Here's the thing: your SKILL.md is 320+ lines and contains full implementation guides with extensive inline code examples. That's eating tokens and burying the signal.
The fix: Move the entire "实现指南" section (lines 91-218) into a new references/implementation_guide.md file. In SKILL.md, just say: "See references/implementation_guide.md for step-by-step implementation." Keep SKILL.md to ~100 lines max—just the overview, use cases, and quick workflow.
Impact: This alone gets you +8 points (to 79/100, into B territory).
Other Things Worth Fixing
Add a table of contents — A 320-line doc needs navigation. Add a ## 目录 section at the top linking to major sections. That's +3 points and takes 2 minutes.
