Find Your Skill

Browse our marketplace for skills in your industry

Navigate to our Business Packages or search for specific skills in your domain:

  • Legal & Compliance skills for contract review and research
  • Real Estate skills for property analysis and due diligence
  • Finance & Tax skills for financial modeling and compliance

Download the Skill

Get the skill file ready to install

On any skill page, click the "Download for Claude Desktop" button.

Example download:
contract-review-skill.zip
Download ZIP

The ZIP file will be saved to your Downloads folder.

Install in Claude Desktop

Add the skill to your Claude Desktop

3a. Add the skill in Claude Desktop

Open Claude Desktop, then navigate to: Settings (gear icon) → Capabilities → scroll down to Skills section → click Add button

Tip: The Skills section is at the bottom of the Capabilities page. You'll see "Your skills" and "Example skills" tabs.

3b. Select the downloaded skill file

In the Add Skill dialog, browse to your Downloads folder and select the downloaded ZIP file (e.g., contract-review-skill.zip). Claude Desktop will automatically install it.

Click Add → Navigate to ~/Downloads/ → Select contract-review-skill.zip → Confirm

3c. Enable the skill

After adding, the skill will appear in "Your skills" list. Toggle the switch to enable it.

Success! Your skill is now active. Type / in any chat to see your installed skills.

✅ Verify Installation

Check in Settings: Go to Settings → Capabilities → Skills and confirm your skill appears in "Your skills" with the toggle enabled.

Use in chat: In any conversation, type / (forward slash) and you should see your skill in the dropdown list.

To activate a skill, type /skill-name and Claude will use that skill's expertise in your conversation.

Troubleshooting

Skill doesn't appear in the list

  • Make sure you selected the downloaded ZIP file from your Downloads folder
  • Verify the ZIP file was fully downloaded (check file size isn't 0 bytes)
  • Try closing the Settings window and reopening it
  • Make sure you're clicking "Add" in the Skills section (Settings → Capabilities → Skills)

Can't find the Capabilities section

Step-by-step navigation:

  1. Click the Settings gear icon in Claude Desktop
  2. Look for Capabilities in the left sidebar (below Usage)
  3. Scroll down to the Skills section at the bottom
  4. Click the Add button to add a new skill

Skill toggle is disabled

If the skill appears but the toggle switch is grayed out:

  • Try removing the skill and re-adding it with a fresh download
  • Restart Claude Desktop completely (Quit from menu, not just close window)
  • Re-download the skill ZIP file in case the download was corrupted
